It’s official! AJ Lee has made her long-anticipated WWE comeback during SmackDown in Chicago. She returned to support her husband, CM Punk, and the duo is set to face Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at Wrestlepalozaa on Saturday, September 20.

The feature match of WWE SmackDown was introduced by Seth Rollins, who brought his wife and Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch, to the ring. Loud boos filled the arena, accompanied by enthusiastic chants for AJ Lee, as her return was eagerly anticipated by the crowd.

Becky Lynch addressed the crowd with scornful remarks about Chicago while also mocking its hometown hero, CM Punk. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins watched from the stands.

When CM Punk emerged, the thrilled audience erupted with excitement. ‘Cult of Personality’ reverberated through the venue. Punk, offering Becky Lynch a chance to leave, remarked that the confrontation wasn’t about her.

Punk then turned to Rollins, telling Lynch, “This is about your husband, who’s a coward.”

Earlier this week, CM Punk announced his intention to appear on SmackDown, given its location in his hometown of Chicago.
