This incident has led to speculation about whether AJ Lee might return to WWE to confront Rollins and Lynch. During the event, an audience member was seen holding a sign calling for AJ Lee’s comeback, which caught Seth Rollins’ attention.

The buzz around AJ Lee’s return has led WWE reporter Sean Ross Sapp, from FightfulSelect, to reveal that internal discussions about her return have been numerous.

“I have learned that AJ Lee’s return has been included in several internal pitches within WWE,” wrote Sapp.

AJ Lee, whose real name is April Jeanette Mendez, retired from WWE competition on April 3, 2015, shortly after WrestleMania 31.
