Bengals’ Joe Burrow’s Injury puts him on the bench post Jaguars game

During a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals’ quarterback, was injured. Burrow was sacked by Jaguars’ defensive lineman Arik Armstead early in the second quarter and fell, visibly in pain. The training staff rushed to Burrow’s aid as he clutched his ankle. Spectators observed Burrow having difficulty walking.

On that day, Jake Browning replaced Burrow with the Bengals trailing the Jaguars 14-7.

The injury happened on a second-and-20 play when Burrow was sacked. He remained on the ground as trainers rushed to him and then limped off the field and into the medical tent. He was then taken to the locker room. Before his injury, Burrow had completed 8 of 14 passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.

Bengals fans expressed their concern and frustration on social media. “Joe Burrow can’t even walk, he needs two people by his side just to get to the locker room. Yeah, this is a horrible sign for Bengals fans, this isn’t good at all,” one person posted on a platform formerly known as Twitter. Another fan commented, “Can the #Bengals not afford a medical cart?? They’re making Joe Burrow walk to the locker room and he can’t even walk, he’s limping.”

The Cincinnati Bengals’ depth chart includes players such as Joe Burrow, Jake Browning, Chase Brown, Samaje Perine, Tahj Brooks, Ja’Marr Chase, and Jermaine Burton, among others.
