Candace Parker’s surprise reaction to Caitlin Clark’s NBA 2K Dunk goes viral

The release of NBA 2K26 is more than two weeks away but a gameplay clip of the Indiana Fever guard, Caitlin Clark, dunking over Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James is already garnering attention. This clip appeared in a promotional video for the game on August 14.

The notable dunk was discussed by WNBA icons Candace Parker and Aliyah Boston on their weekly podcast, Post Moves. In it, they expressed amusement over the clip.

Candace Parker joked, “LeBron’s PR team has got to get rid of that clip… Not the King, come on man, you can’t do that to Bron.”

The clip also gained further attention when Aliyah Boston expressed if she were playing as the Indiana Fever in NBA 2K, she would prefer to play against the L.A. Lakers due to the clip of Caitlin Clark dunking on LeBron James. Candace Parker chimed in adding, “This is wild right here! …this is awful… but LeBron’s PR team has got to get rid of that.”

Candace Parker has previously spoken about Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese’s so-called rivalry and stood by them. She believes the comparison between them is unfair due to their different roles and positions, and they should be judged based on their contributions and strengths instead.
