Speaking to ComingSoon.net, CM Punk commented on previous Fantastic Four movies, noting they were subpar, but he is optimistic about the new one. He stated, “I’m slightly envious, but yes, I am fully supportive of the new film. The Thing actually resembles The Thing. We’ve seen some poor Fantastic Four films before, so I’m hoping this one serves as a palate cleanser.”
Earlier films were produced before the Fantastic Four joined Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. The new movie, featuring Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby, has grossed $170 million domestically.
CM Punk also expressed interest in acting in a superhero movie. “Definitely. However, I evaluate each project based on time availability and personal sacrifice it entails. I approach them as they come. My main focus in TV and film is working with talented, creative individuals and learning throughout the process,” he stated.
