Dwyane Wade, former basketball star for the Miami Heat, has been sharing his love of golf on social media. He recently posted photographs and video clips on Instagram from a golfing session with friends. Known to enjoy the sport solo as well as with his wife Gabrielle Union, Wade refers to golfing as a yearly tradition.

Wade’s post-NBA retirement life has involved practicing golf and spending memorable times with his friends. Photos and videos from his golfing activities showed him enjoying the sport with his friends. “Our yearly NYC golf tradition” he captioned a selfie with his golfing friends on Instagram.

Talking about his passion for golf, he once said that it has given him opportunities to spend time with people he otherwise wouldn’t. It was two of the most important things he had done since retiring, along with getting involved in the wine industry. Being able to share wine or golf with someone provided a chance for an unedited conversation, he explained.

In the past, Wade and his wife have enjoyed playing golf together. A competitive athlete herself, Union has been seen giving tough competition to her husband. The two seem fully dedicated to playing their best game, with Wade posting videos of their golf course experience and praising Union’s efforts.

Not limited to the basketball court, Dwayne Wade has successfully built a brand that includes golf and wine. Most importantly, he seems to be having a great time with people he cares about, including wife Gabrielle Union. The retired NBA star has married his love for golf with an evident celebration of love for his wife.
