The new Netflix feature, highlighting the acquisition and rise of the Dallas Cowboys, is now available for viewers. The eight-part document explores the team’s legacy through interviews with notable personalities.

The series is about stories uncovered and known of Jerry Jones’ purchase of the Cowboys and their rise to prominence in the 1990s. Cowboys legends Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin, Emmitt Smith, and high-profile figures like ex-US President George W. Bush and Nike co-founder and former CEO Phil Knight give their insights into the team’s journey.

The subjects covered include Jones’ purchase of the team, the famous Herschel Walker trade which helped Dallas build ‘Triplets’ of Aikman, Smith and Irvin, three Super Bowl wins in four years, and the strained separation between Jones and Jimmy Johnson.

The series, consisting of eight episodes, was released on the streaming platform on Tuesday (August 19). You can watch it by purchasing Netflix for $7.99/month, with ad-free options available at $17.99 for the Standard plan and $24.99 for the Premium option. A special blue carpet event in Hollywood celebrated the series’ release on August 18.
