Getting to Know Alindra Person: Terence Crawford’s Leading Lady

Terence “Bud” Crawford made history in Las Vegas on Saturday, September 13, when he beat Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez to become the super-middleweight champion. The 37-year-old won the match with the judges scoring 116-112, 115-113, and 115-113 all in favor of Crawford, according to The Guardian. With his win, Crawford’s personal life is also in the spotlight again. Crawford is in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, Alindra Person.

Alindra Person is originally from Chicago and moved to Omaha, Crawford’s hometown, in 2003. The couple has six children together – three sons named Terence Jr., T. Bud, and Tyrese, and two daughters, Talaya and Trinity Michelle. Person also has a daughter, Tamiya, from a previous relationship.

Person’s occupation remains unconfirmed as per The Sun, but she is often seen at Crawford’s matches and shares her family vacation photos on Instagram.

Terence Crawford moved up two weight classes to give Álvarez his third career loss. Apart from Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr., Crawford is the only fighter to win a lineal championship in four different weight classes. He is also the first male fighter in the four-belt era to be an undisputed champion in three different weight divisions. He has won world titles in five divisions, ranging from 135 to 168.
