Guide to Hero Classes, Progression, and Rewards in…
Fellowship is a game designed for those who love dungeon crawlers but despise endless grinding. It emphasizes immediate engagement in team-based dungeon runs, loot hunts, and hero upgrades. Forget about side quests and filler, this game offers unadulterated co-op chaos. Whether you’re a fan of tanking, healing, or straighforward wrecking, Fellowship has something to cater for every player type.
When it comes to hero classes in Fellowship, every team follows the good old RPG trio – Tank, DPS, and Healer. However, each hero possesses a unique twist and flavor, enhancing the gameplay experience and strategy. For Tanks, that are the backbone of the team, absorbing damage, and effectively preventing other team members from dying, players can choose between Helena, a classic sword-and-shield fighter ideal for beginners, or Meiko, a flashy martial artist tank offering a trickier but rewarding gameplay.
The DPS category in Fellowship are the teams’ damage dealers. Characters in this class include Rime, an ice-based single-target killer, Tariq, a close-range lightning brawler, Mara, a rogue-style assassin with poisons and stealth abilities, Elarion, an archer with AoEs and buff skills, and Ardios, a character bringing fire, chaos and several explosions into the gameplay.
If healing is your preference, the characters Sylvie and Vigour offer compelling styles of play. Sylvie can use nature and pets for healing and light DPS, whilst Vigour is easy to pick up and excels at team-wide heals and clutch saves.
Progression in Fellowship largely depends on running dungeons and obtaining better gear. Start with Quick Play runs to earn early resources and “Marks of Fellowship” for starter gear. Challenge League marks the start of increased difficulty with tougher dungeons, higher-level loot, and the real grind begins. Here, you need to continually boost your Item Level to unlock more challenging (and rewarding) content. Finally, for the ultimate test, Eternal Mode offers endless dungeons that scale infinitely.
Collecting gear in Fellowship has significance, with items such as weapons offering unique traits and abilities, armor boosting stats and the option to be upgraded or socketed with gems, and the Star Map operating like a skill tree to unlock new powers, mounts, and permanent boosts. Additionally, timed events and Twitch drops offer exclusive skins and mounts as rewards.
