Lewis Hamilton Honors His Dog Roscoe with Lego Portrait Amid…

Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, emotionally paid tribute to his late dog, Roscoe, by revealing a detailed LEGO portrait of the beloved bulldog on his Instagram on October 5, 2025. This heartfelt tribute came just a week after Roscoe succumbed to pneumonia in Italy on September 28, 2025. Hamilton expressed his gratitude for the immense support and love he has received from fans during this tough period and admits that the pain of losing Roscoe is enduring but the support he has been receiving is significantly helping him through this time.

The LEGO portrait, which he shared on his Instagram story, touched Hamilton deeply. He was amazed at the minute detailing in the portrait and appreciated the effort and time that went into creating it. He also thanked his fans for their constant flow of kind and comforting messages post Roscoe’s passing, stating he felt their care and effort. He acknowledged that his fans too had lost pets and were able to resonate with his pain.

Adding a comforting note, Hamilton said, “Wherever Roscoe is, he’s got tons of friends. He’s surrounded by love and good vibes, just as he was when he was alive.” Roscoe was more than a pet; he was Hamilton’s dear companion at races worldwide, often seen in the Formula 1 paddock and at events like the British Grand Prix in July 2025. Roscoe had a huge fan base on his own social media, where they followed his daily adventures.

Sadly, Roscoe fell ill after the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in September 2025, leading Hamilton to cancel his participation in the Pirelli tyre test in Italy and attendance at Milan Fashion Week. Despite the efforts of doctors to revive Roscoe, his condition worsened, and he was put on life support. Hamilton, who was by his side throughout, termed letting Roscoe go as the ‘hardest decision’ of his life.

Post Roscoe’s passing, Hamilton confessed to feeling lost but also expressed his gratitude for the comforting words received from his fans. On his return to the Formula 1 paddock for the Singapore Grand Prix a week after, he was bolstered by the warm welcome, comfort-filled hugs, and messages he received. While these gestures were emotionally overwhelming for him, he also felt grateful, expressing his thankfulness by stating, “I can’t thank you all enough. All of your love and kindness have helped me more than I can say.
