Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes have been in love since their high school days in Texas, growing together through their teenage years. As Patrick Mahomes progressed through the ranks to become a superstar in the National Football League (NFL), Brittany Mahomes carved out her path as a potent businesswoman and team owner.

Their journey started back when they were studying at Whitehouse High School in Texas, with Patrick in his sophomore year and Brittany in her junior year. They began dating in 2012, attending school games and events together, and their relationship grew stronger over years. They attended two proms together, and even while studying in different colleges, the two managed to keep their relationship strong through daily calls, frequent visits and even adopting a dog named Steel in 2016.

Brittany was present in every significant moment of Patrick’s life, including when he got drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2017. She moved with him to Kansas City, leaving behind her pro soccer career in Iceland. Her support for Patrick was unwavering, cheering him on during training, travel, and game days.

In 2020, Patrick won his first Super Bowl, and Brittany was the first person he embraced on the field. Patrick proposed to Brittany on September 1, 2020, in a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium. They tied the knot on March 12, 2022, in Maui, Hawaii, in a beach wedding ceremony attended by close friends and family.

As of 2025, Brittany is still Patrick’s most ardent supporter, attending every Chiefs game. Apart from that, she also co-owns the Kansas City Current soccer team, in which Patrick also shares ownership. The couple now has three children – Sterling Skye, born in 2021, Bronze born in 2022, and their newest addition, Golden Raye, born in early 2025.
