Max Verstappen Hailed as Racing GOAT ‘Franz Hermann’ after…
Max Verstappen dominated at round seven of the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS), showing his skill despite not even competing but only racing to earn a special license. His performance left many experienced drivers and experts astounded. Verstappen not only won his class but also received praise from fans on social media who hailed him as the greatest of all time (GOAT) in racing.
After his impressive performance at Nordschleife, Verstappen shared a photo on Instagram along with a view of his blue Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. Fans showered him with praise, with one saying, “He just loves to race.” Another fan referred to his performance at Nurburgring as a “typical Max Verstappen move”, while another mentioned Verstappen “breathes racing.” One even declared this debut to be “100, next year he will be the best GOAT.”
Verstappen also received comments under the alias he used during his participation at the Nurburgring in May, “Franz Hermann.” This pseudonym came up in praises such as, “Simply lovely, Franz Hermann,” and “Nice work, Franz Hermann.” After obtaining his DMSB (Deutscher Motor Sport Bund) license, Verstappen can now participate in races like the Nurburgring 24 Hours.
Responding to Verstappen’s stellar debut at Nurburgring, F1 expert Ralf Schumacher shared his pride and said, “The best driver in the world will manage it if the others can do it.” Schumacher took issue with those who questioned Verstappen getting his permit before he even drove, calling it “embarrassing”. Verstappen, for his part, was thrilled with the experience, citing a successful drive in variable weather conditions and gaining ample experience on this circuit.
Verstappen now looks forward to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix next weekend, hoping to continue his winning streak following his recent win in Monza.
