Lionel Messi has sparked significant speculation following what might be his last match for Argentina on home turf. “Day by day, aiming to feel good and most importantly, being truthful with myself. When I’m at my best, I thoroughly enjoy it, but when I’m not, it’s not satisfying at all, so I would prefer avoiding participation if I’m not well. As of now, I haven’t decided about the World Cup. I’ll approach it game by game, conclude the season, undergo preseason preparations, and within six months, a decision will follow. Ideally, I’ll have a fruitful preseason in 2026, end this MLS season positively, and then I’ll decide,” he concluded.
