Michael Jordan is regarded as one of the greatest legends in the history of NBA (National Basketball Association). Being at his best in the 1990s, Jordan was an idol for many, including current Major League Baseball (MLB) player Andruw Jones. In a recent revelation, Jones recollected his meeting with Jordan that happened in an unexpected setting.

While appearing on the ‘All the Smoke’ podcast, Jones talked about his deep admiration for Michael Jordan and the excitement of becoming a Jordan-endorsed athlete in the mid-2000s. The MLB player astonished everyone with details of his unusual business meeting with Jordan. According to Jones, he had met Jordan earlier in locations like clubs, but this meeting differed as they discussed business while Jordan was getting a manicure done at the same time.

In addition to his famous career, Jordan was also known for his brief retirement in 1993 and return to the court in 2001. The NBA legend admitted in his book, “When Nothing Else Matters”, that a sense of envy towards younger players like Kobe Bryant and Vince Carter stormed a comeback. His return to the court saw an average of 21.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.5 steals per game in his two seasons with the Washington Wizards.
