Naomi Announces Vacating WWE Women’s World Title on Monday Night Raw
Naomi has officially vacated her WWE Women’s World title. The 37-year-old announced this decision during Monday Night Raw on Netflix. She cited her pregnancy as the reason for stepping down and confirmed she will be taking a break for the next nine months.

Reason Behind Naomi’s Decision
During an event at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Naomi shared her joyous announcement in an in-ring segment with RAW general manager Adam Pearce. She confidently shared the baby news, exciting the audience with her plans for the future. Naomi, married to fellow WWE star Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Solofa Fatu), assured fans she will return after her maternity leave.

Although Pierce attempted to retrieve the title, Naomi chose to leave it in the ring, declaring, ‘the bloodline continues’ amidst enthusiastic ‘baby Uso’ chants. She emphasized that her wrestling career is not over, vowing to regain her position once she’s back. Meanwhile, she leaves the title open for anyone to claim.
Recently, Naomi delivered an outstanding performance at the SummerSlam event by defeating Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. During the “What’s Your Story” podcast last week with Stephanie McMahon, Naomi expressed confidence in WWE’s supportive environment, encouraging women wrestlers to pursue motherhood without compromising their careers.
“Women now can balance career and family beautifully, setting an inspiring example for many. Sixteen years ago, having a baby might have felt like the end of a wrestling career, but that’s changed,” she shared.
