NBA Star Stephen Curry’s Initial Interaction with Businesswoman Ayesha: Entrepreneur’s Perspective

Ayesha Curry, entrepreneur and wife of NBA star Stephen Curry, recently opened up about their early relationship and the first message he sent her. She revealed these details during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

Ayesha shared that their acquaintance began when she met Stephen in Charlotte, but their romantic relationship didn’t start until she moved to Los Angeles for her acting career. When discussing the first text Stephen sent, she shared that Stephen got in touch with her via Facebook after she moved to LA, asking about a person in a music video picture she was in.

She went on to talk about the adjustments she had to make due to the heightened attention resulting from Stephen’s rise in fame. While she admitted the public attention has opened some doors for her, she also confessed that she initially disliked the spotlight on her personal life.

The Currys have had more than a decade-long marriage journey that began when they were teenagers. They first met at a church in Charlotte, NC when Stephen was 15 and Ayesha was 14. They lost touch but reconnected around 2008 and went on their first date. Two years later, in 2010, Stephen proposed. Today, they are proud parents to three children.
