The popular mobile game Pokémon Go is set to feature a special two-day event where players get a chance to defeat Shadow Groudon, one of the most powerful Shadow bosses. During the event, from September 20 to 21, 2025, players across the globe will need an effective Shadow Groudon raid guide to defeat this powerful monster.

Shadow Groudon will only be available in 5-Star Shadow Raids from 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, local time. Players should prioritize Mega Evolutions during battle to amplify both raid damage and XL Candy drops, use Purified Gems during its shield phase, employ at least 6-8 high-level trainers for a smooth victory, avoid fainting out completely and rejoin quickly to maintain DPS pressure.

Shadow Groudon stands as one of the premier ground-type attackers in the game, only outclassed by its own Primal form. In PvP (GO Battle League Master League), it becomes a devastating closer capable of taking down even bulky opponents with Precipice Blades; however, its Shadow status increases its frailty.
