Playing with the Clippers during his rookie NBA season of 2022-23, he’s now aiming to capitalize on that momentum with the Grizzlies. During his appearance on the show ‘Run It Back’, he mentioned that his father, Scottie Pippen, was originally named ‘Scotty Maurice Pippen Sr.’, but as he gained fame in the NBA, he transitioned to spelling his name as “Scottie” for simplicity during autograph sessions. However, the younger Pippen chose to stick with the original “Scotty” spelling.
