Seth Rollins Faces Setback with Knee Injury in WWE Bout Against LA Knight

Seth Rollins was the first to hold the new World Heavyweight Championship and has also won the WWE and Universal titles twice each.
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins sustained a knee injury during his match with LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Rollins attempted a senton followed by a moonsault, but his landing went awry, causing his knee to buckle. The incident drew immediate concern from medics and the referee, who rushed to his aid. Rollins managed to get back on his feet, only to be pinned by LA Knight shortly thereafter.

Rollins was escorted backstage following the commercial break. As per USA Network’s report, there is no detailed update on the severity of his injury. Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select confirmed the injury’s legitimacy and noted that the match outcome was altered as a result.
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins won several major titles
Rollins has had a distinguished career in WWE, capturing numerous prestigious titles.
He rose to prominence as Tyler Black in Ring of Honor, where he competed against the likes of Roderick Strong, Nigel McGuinness, and Austin Aries. Rollins made his way to WWE via Florida Championship Wrestling, which later evolved into NXT. He became the first NXT Champion by defeating Jinder Mahal.
He later transitioned to the main roster alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose as part of The Shield. Ambrose now wrestles as Jon Moxley in AEW.

Seth Rollins became the first World Heavyweight Champion
Rollins remains one of WWE’s premier talents. He was the inaugural World Heavyweight Championship holder and secured the WWE and Universal titles twice each, according to a report by Newsweek.
In addition to his one-time NXT title reign, he has captured the Intercontinental and United States Championships twice each and holds six tag team titles. He claimed victory in the 2019 Royal Rumble and captured the Money in the Bank briefcase in both 2014 and 2025.
Rollins has earned the admiration of fans through his impressive in-ring abilities, charismatic mic skills, and versatility in portraying both hero and villain roles.
