Uncover the Massive Settlement Cristiano Ronaldo Would Owe Georgina Rodriguez Post-Split

Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has recently become engaged to his long-term partner Georgina Rodriguez. The news was shared by Rodriguez on Instagram, where she showcased her diamond engagement ring placed atop Ronaldo’s hand. According to reports from The Mirror, Ronaldo would have to allocate a significant portion of his wealth in the event of a split with Rodriguez.

Ronaldo, who is currently signed to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, and Rodriguez publicized their relationship in 2017. They have five children, including one from Ronaldo’s previous relationship.

Celebrity Net Worth estimates Ronaldo’s total earnings to be approximately $1 billion, hitting this milestone after the extension of his contract with Al Nassr in June. Ronaldo primarily amassed his wealth through his illustrious careers with renowned clubs Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus. His annual earnings from Al Nassr alone amount to around $230 million. Other income sources include various sponsorship deals and business ventures.

However, should Ronaldo and Rodriguez decide to separate, Ronaldo may have to relinquish a significant portion of his estate to Rodriguez. This is backed by Portugal’s TV GUIA magazine, stating a prenuptial agreement between the couple. The agreement, amongst other things, mentions providing Rodriguez with a lifetime pension of over $114,000 per month in the event of a separation. After their first daughter Alana’s birth, various clauses were added to the agreement including Rodriguez’s ownership of Ronaldo’s mansion based in Madrid, which was purchased back in 2010 for $5.64 million.

Regardless of the couple’s current engagement status, a potential split post-marriage could further complicate their financial settlement.
