Unlocking and Utilizing Hero Superpowers in Lego Fortnite: A…
The latest update to LEGO Fortnite has introduced a superhero mode that changes the game’s dynamic significantly. Players can now defeat enemies by using superpowers, giving them an experience akin to a mini Avengers movie. However, to use these abilities, players first need to earn them.
Superpowers in LEGO Fortnite are not just random abilities; they function as your character’s ‘special class skills.’ These superpowers derive from three primary hero pathways: Rift Ripper, Shadow Caller, and The Hunter. Each pathway offers a distinct playing style.
– Rift Ripper provides brawny, energy-based chaos (extensive Area-of-Effect damage).
– Shadow Caller offers a dark and stealthy mode with shadow-based assaults.
– The Hunter focuses on melee and ranged skills, giving you a warrior-like experience.
Each superpower is tied to a weapon specific to your chosen pathway, which you’ll find once you start a game. To unlock and upgrade your superpowers, you’ll require Essence. Essence can be accumulated by fighting enemies, exploring random caves, and finishing expeditions. Once collected, you can spend Essence in your Mastery menu to level up your hero pathways and unlock new abilities.
It’s advised that players don’t only focus on one tree but mix skills up. Combining Rift energy with Shadow skills, for instance, can help eliminate bosses quicker.
Applying your superpowers in LEGO Fortnite works similarly to handling a regular weapon. You suit it from your inventory, aim, and fire. To execute the ultimate version of your superpower, you’ll need to charge it up first. Using your weapon regularly helps to build energy, and once it’s full, your heroes’ true power can be unleashed.
Remember, timing is crucial. If you pop your ultimate too early, you waste it. But if you use it when surrounded by enemies or facing a boss, it manifests into pure cinematic chaos. Alone, the superpowers are solid but not overpowering. However, when paired together, like using a shadow hand to pin enemies then blasting them with a Rift Ripper’s AoE, they create a dynamic combo.
