Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma Ejected from Café: Cricket News…

The Indian all-rounder, Jemimah Rodrigues, has shared a funny anecdote involving fellow cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma at a café in New Zealand. She presented this story during “The Bombay Journey” YouTube show. According to Rodrigues, a long chat among them ended up with the café staff asking them to leave.

Rodrigues shared the event started when she, alongside teammate Smriti Mandhana, approached Kohli for some batting advice. The cricketer warmly welcomed them and invited them to the café for the discussion. Anushka Sharma also joined their conversation, which initially revolved around cricket, in which Kohli motivated the two women cricketers saying they both have the power to transform women’s cricket.

Later, the discussion turned from cricket to more casual topics and life in general. They spoke for hours and the café staff had to intervene. Rodrigues laughingly recounted, “We ended up talking for four hours; half an hour on batting and four hours on random stuff. The only reason we stopped was because the café staff kicked us out.”
