WWE star Rhea Ripley recently conveyed a strong message after an unsettling encounter where she was mobbed by fans. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), she expressed that no individual should ever feel confined against a car door by a swarm of fans. She emphasized the importance of “common courtesy” and “humanity.” Earlier, a video circulated on social media showing the former Women’s World Champion being pursued by fans for selfies.
Ripley is currently visiting Paris for the upcoming WWE event, Clash In Paris. The incident occurred in the city’s center. Footage shows Rhea looking uncomfortable as she is approached by numerous fans.
The video depicts Rhea initially engaging with fans. However, as crowds grew, the situation escalated, and she eventually needed to leave the area quickly.
“Remember, we are human. Do not surround me or anyone as if we’re rabid zombies. No one should endure what I just did. Use common courtesy and humanity. No means no. WTF,” she asserted on X.
Rhea further addressed the situation on her Instagram Stories. Embracing her Eradicator persona, she stated, “Treat me like a human or I’ll start acting like Rhea Ripley, and no one will get anything.”
It’s worth noting that Rhea Ripley is not scheduled to compete at the WWE Clash In Paris 2025, set to occur later this Sunday evening.
CM Punk’s Reaction
Rhea isn’t the only one speaking against this behavior. CM Punk, preparing for a Fatal Four-Way Match against Seth Rollins (champion), Jey Uso, and LA Knight for the WWE World Heavyweight title, also conveyed his disapproval on Instagram Stories, urging fans to stop “touching strangers.”
“Stop touching strangers. PLEASE,” CM Punk stated on Instagram.
The WWE Clash in Paris 2025 will feature six exciting matches. John Cena is set to go against Logan Paul, while Becky Lynch will defend her Women’s Intercontinental Title against Nikki Bella.
